Nostimo is located very conveniently within a very short walk from Russel.Square Tube station. The surrounding area is beautifully kept, without the mad hustle and bustle of Soho, for example Location is therefore a definite plus. Staff: Very welcoming and attentive. Iit is pleasant to have such friendly service. Where to sit: The indoor dining area is really quite characterless , brightly lit and close to.tje working hub of the restaurant. Even if the weather is cold and wet, I would recommend the outside area, which is perfectly protected from the elements. The food: Divine and very generous. To start: the pita and dips selection is really special. No store bought flavours here. Mains: Kleftiko, served with Greek potatoes and a side salad. Delicious, except for the side salad which is served without any dressing at all. Lamb chops: Pita bread, tsatsiki,chips and a side salad accompany the delicious lamb chops.Again, a simple dressing would bump up the salad. Also a mixed chicken.and pork Jeero.plate, which is very,very generous and served with tsatziki, chips, sidee salad and pita. If we lived in London we would be regulars. With a small tweak here and there they can be spectacular but still homely and traditional.

Honestly, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant (in a good way) recommended by a friend but it really superseded my expectations. We ordered the mixed platter and Kleftiko ~ the quality of the meat was perfection! A must try for the starter is the ‘Fried Feta and Honey’ TO DIE FOR! Food 5/5, Service 5/5 too! And the location is GREAT too (2 mins walk from Russell Sq station) I’ll defintley be back again!!

Lovely meal at Nostimo, food super lovely, amazing portion sizes, I had the Greek salad, fried feta & honey ( incredible) and my friend had the pork yeeros. Service is always incredibly friendly, the team are very knowledgeable. Thank you for a lovely evening

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Nostimo Greek Restaurant! The food is simply delicious — true Greek homemade cooking that tastes like it came straight from a family kitchen. The lamb chops are hands down the best in town, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Portions are incredibly generous, and the service is outstanding. A big thank you to the owner Alex and his amazing team — John was brilliant, and George and Abu made sure everything was perfect. It’s also a great spot for drinks and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for real Greek food and genuine hospitality, this place is a must!

Great meal here. Busy Friday night but they found me a table and all with a smile. Really good selection of typical Greek and Mediterranean dishes on the menu. I opted for the Melitzanosalata, a great aubergine dip with pita. Followed by their mixed Gyros platter. Everything was really tasty and hot and there was plenty of it. A really good selection of drinks including cocktails, wine and beers. Their ‘Idea’ white wine was very good and went perfectly with the food. I couldn’t manage desert but would definitely go back here again when I am in London.
